Pastor Appreciation Sunday

This last Sunday our Church, Heartland Community Church, honored me along with our Senior Pastor Kevin Zaun. I am glad to be a part of a wonderful family. There was an open microphone and it was a little embarrassing to have people tearfully tell us how we have blessed them. As an associate pastor I have never felt so loved by my church. It is far more typical for people to fawn over the Senior pastor and kind of forget about the associate. That was not the case Sunday and I will never forget it. I want to say thank you to everyone who put it together, shared stories of how they have been impacted, and to all the wonderful people who are bringing meals to our home all this week. I will treasure this week for a long time and draw on its memory when things are hard. God bless you!
