Message to YFC Staff and Volunteers

Great club again last night. I am looking forward to hearing from you, but from what I could tell it was one of the best nights we have had for small groups. I counted 83 and there were a lot of regulars that were not there. I would be grateful if you had some stories to share from the small groups. I think there may have been some good ones, talking about forgiving other people when they hurt us even when they don’t think they need to.

I am praying for some of you to get your bus license. I got a call from a kid at 6:55 wanting a ride, she had been missed. It is very hard knowing we have kids out there that want to come who we are missing because we don’t have the means to get them. I think if we had enough vehicles and manpower we could easily have 150 students coming to club. You see I hesitate to chase new kids when I am having a hard time getting the ones we have.

There has been some concern about kids leaving  before the meeting is done. I think we should let them leave without giving them a hard time as long as they don’t come back that night and we did not give them a ride. If students leave just for our discussion and them come back to play basketball at the end, they spend time in the parking lot and there is the potential for  vandalism. If they leave they need to leave the property. Also if we give them a ride we have a responsibility to safely bring them home again.

Just another reminder, there is no club next week because of the YFC banquet.

You are doing a great job, God Bless You!
