Love God, Love People, Serve the World!
This is a sermon that I preached on 1-25-09 about our ministry process at Heartland Community Church. I really wanted to get it out since people were asking for it but I do want to give a disclaimer that I did not edit it and sometimes when you speak in front of people and go off your notes you say dumb stuff. So as you listen know a couple of things about me.
I pray everyday for lost people and know God hears those prayers and answers them.
Prayer Meetings have been an important part of my life and I think they are vital to our church.
It is only when prayer takes the place of loving your neighbor that it is not healthy. I happen to think this happens sometimes, we pray and think that is all God asks of us when in fact Jesus said "go ye into all the world and preach the gospel", not "go into your church basement and pray"
