I hope you had a great Christmas Holiday. I sure enjoyed talking about how God became a man this past weeks. I tell them “Christmas isn’t about gifts, its not even about family, it’s about the God of the universe wanting a relationship with you so much He left heaven to come an get you”. I share the whole gospel message every week. What an honor and privilege it is to be a messenger of the good news.
In the coming months we are going to work hard to dig deeper into the lives of the students. The only way to do that is to increase our adult student ratio. For a period of 6 weeks starting in February we are going to do a push to have a 1 adult to every 5 students. That means I need about 20 volunteers and staff. I have about 10 right now. You will here more about it soon. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest would send out workers.
Have you been hearing about minors breaking the law in the last 6 months? There have been some in the news who I have been sharing Christ with. The detention center ministry has never gone so well. Please pray that when these students get out they want to hang out with us. Sometimes the forget us after they get out.
Please pray that our financial needs would be meet. A ministry that is working under budget because of lack of funds has a very hard time excelling. Nobody gets into the ministry because they love to raise money. Yet everything costs. As our staff and the amount of kids we are working with has grown, so has our expenses. Thank you for your faithfulness with your prayers and giving. I am and extension of you every time I share Christ someone.
